Hi and welcome!
I'm quite new to the world of blogging, I love to read them but haven't really written my own so here goes! Obviously the main focus here is Running For My Angels a fun run I have set up to raise money for charity to help families who like me have lost a baby.
Now before I got this crazy idea in my head I haven't ran since the dreaded cross country runs forced upon us in school although a smaller build I am far from physically fit - so you ask why then am I choosing to run? Good question!
My reasons are:
It is something that is really going to challenge me so I have to put a lot of effort and dedication in so hopefully more funds raised
I want to be fit
I want to lose my flabby muffin top that has never gone since my c-section
I want to be happy - I suffer from depression, quite badly and I don't take well to the medications prescribed and exersize with all its endorphins can hopefully put me on the road to recovery
That's just a couple of reasons I could go on for hours
I've just signed up for the Michelle Bridges 12 week body transformation (12WBT) and will learn to love myself and gain a level of fitness unlike what I have now which for my age and my build is appauling.
So not only is this blog about the charity event side of things it is also a road to self discovery
